Hi

Just wondering if anyone is able to advise the best wiring config for a UHF Anteena mounted on the top of a bull bar and running into the cabin. I am looking for a grommet or something to be able to feed the cable through to the cabing and the best place to run the cable through the engine bay.

Cheers

Easy as mate,

Passangers side down on the fire wall there is a big rubber grommet poke a hole through that and silican it up once you have it in.

On the inside it is quite easy to access as well.

Let me know if you need a pic.

Here you go Pics as requested.

Note I have heaps of cables running through there into the cab not just UHF ariel.

May I sugest you get power fro the UHF straight from the battery this way you will have no interferance.

Hope This helps cheers

passenger side fire wall, next to the big rubber grommet should be a small black plug.
pull this off, poke a screw driver in (gently, won't break anything but gently) and inside you need to move you floor carpet+lining to get to it.
Push her on through, cut a hole in the plug or silicon, your power wire can go through the same hole(good if running duel batteries).

agree with the above posts either spots work well just use a phillips head screw driver on the inside just need to move the carpet a little to get to them but make sure you use silicon when all insatalled and you are happy with it were it is so water dont get in
