Ranger or not all common rail diesels are the pretty much the same.
Try using the search tab @Komang, plenty or old threads with the info your looking for re catch cans & fuel filters & EGR in general.

Hi Bro,
Have read one post re catch can.
Hope fully the Ranger owner can give me info wich one or what they already the fit it in in their ranger.

Most people will suggest you get the provent 200.
They go on any vehicle, doesn't have to be a ranger.
Think I have read 20 threads on catch cans on here, you just need to dig a bit deeper,

I got a provent 200 kit from filters plus, and a fuel pre filter kit from BPT motorsport, both in Perth
Hi bro Seajay, pre filter kit will be my next to buy and fit in. Prob I will look for BPT if they can fit it in for me. Thanks

Hi again Komang,
Definitely worth fitting a Provent 200 and either a post or pre filter. You can get kits for the Ranger which include mounting brackets and hoses to fit both together or separately. I got mine from Western Filters in Sydney, but I'm sure you could get some locally. The kits come with moulded hoses, which fit easily and save fitting connectors inside the original hoses to cut and join them. My post filter is mounted on the firewall passengers side but my provent is fitted to the two threaded holes next to the radiator on the drivers side. Both can go on the rear firewall if wanted.
Expensive but worth it. I do collect a fair bit of oil from mine that would end up in the turbo etc. and my neighbour blew up his Amarok with water a few weeks ago, $16,000 to repair.
Sounds like you are getting into it. Stick some photos up.
Cheers

Hi bro Poopy,
It seems your have the ranger with EPS so you can fit it next to radiator where proposed for ranger with oil PS. I am still waiting breather hose from ebay to arrive so I can move the can to between turbo and air filter with home made mounting like in the pict.
Will post some photo tomorrow.
