Camping Spots - Northern NSW

Just moved up to Tweed Heads in the last few months due to a promotion at work. We were at the Blue Mountains and enjoyed the 4x4 tracks/camping around the area. We are now looking for some good/great 4wd tracks and camping areas that the wife and two kids (girls 7 & 9 yrs) can get to and have some fun. Any ideas, would be fantastic. Thanks

Crystalvale 4wd park near Murwillumbah. Get yourself a copy of the Dirty Weekends book check out Border Ranges, Condamine Gorge, Oriellys. Apparently good stuff around Coffs Harbour, not far for you.

There are some tracks on the hills behind Kingscliff but I am not sure you have to be in a tour group or not. A local 4x4 club may have the answer on that.
