Picking up my first camper trailer next week, had a look at on line quotes for insurance but most want a phone chat. So to speed up the search can I ask which company other trailer owners are with.

Most people I know go with CIL or more recently Club 4x4.

Club4x4 here, CIL wanted more info as it's a home done conversion of a Kanga box trailer into a camper trailer.

CIL do not cover 'actions of the sea' so if you are a beach goer that may be of concern. We camp on remote beaches and although we don't want to, and never have been stuck with the trailer, it wouldn't be nice to get stuck and also know your pride and joy isn't insured.
We ended up with RACQ after a fair search and a lot of PDS reading.

Interested in who you ended up going with mate.:)

Not sure about our equivalent RACV. Getting conflicting answers, but have a few policies with them so might persevere for awhile.

Went with YOUI on the strength of a good price and a good salesman. Have since been told that may not have been a wise decision. Will definitely re assess next year.

Just like agreed value, there happy to accept your payment then want
to talk the value down when you have a claim.
    Very grubby industry.
