By passing high beam connection

Hi guys, I have two little work led lights I’m connecting up to my car. I’m using a wiring harness but I want to be able to have them turn on and off without my high beams been on. Can anyone help me with a way to bypass the high beam connector?

I need them to run without high beams been on for work purposes
Thanks in advance

So, how about running a wire from the iights to a switch in the cab then to an inline fuse and then to the baTtery. The earth can run from the lightbody to any metal earth point.

I’ve got a wiring harness that’s already been wired up but it has a plug that you runs to your high beam with a piggy back connection for your high beams. But I want to by pass that connection so it can run without the high beams

The "trigger"wire is either an earth or 12v power supply to the relay. Instead of using the high beam wire as the "trigger" wire. Run the earth or the 12v from the relay through the switch and back to the relay.

Probably could have written that a lot better than I did. Its been a big dayo_O

Was thinking because the piggy back connection goes to just a positive and negative, I’m thinking snip that and connect it up to the battery as well

Change the source of pin 86 on the relay to power direct from the battery - but you'll need a switch in between either the battery and pin 86 or pin 85 and ground.
