2016. Alpine NP
The southern leg of the W Kiewa logging road has been closed till Xmas or beyond for dangerous tree removal. The gate is just past the 2nd turn off down to the river.

Bushfire in the Crooked River area. Billy Goats Bluff Track closed until further notice. Hopefully no one is effected as the area would be very busy due to the long weekend

Yeah had been watching it unfold on my Vicfire app last night, looks like it's east of the Pinnacles up into McCarthy Spur...

I was up there a fortnight ago and it wasn't too bad. Having said that though its been very warm with no rain since which would make a difference for sure. The fire at Castleburn SE of the Crooked River/Moroka fire is increasing in size too

Any body know of a current website that lists road closures in Vic? Am heading down to the vic high country in a months time and want to check if Davies Plain is open, I had heard it was closed last year.

Best bet plan trip, call local park ranger. Start. With parks vic bright they will pass the rangers no. On and ask them directly
