The last part of this series. This vid starts on Sunday morning at camp near Baal Bone Gap. It absolutely poured Saturday night and we woke up to a drenched camp and some muddy tracks. We were lucky that the rain cleared as we were packing up but it left low hanging cloud and fog which made for spectacular scenes at the lookouts.
We got some cool super slo mo footage in the puddles and at one point our drone nearly took off back to China. Luckily it came back as it should.
We crossed Wolgan Road and entered Black Fellows Hand trail. We stopped off at the caves which is well worth a look.
Its easy going all the way through to Lithgow from that point. We did a bit of driving on the powerlines and watched a few others having some fun out there.
All in all, doing a weekend trip from Lake Lyell/Mt Walker area to Ben Bullen via Moffitt Trail and then over to Lithgow is a perfect weekend 4wd trip that includes great scenery and tracks that range from mild to wild.
I hope you enjoy the video.
