The Mitsubishi Club do a lot of there driver training there, has got some great tracks and the owners are really helpful and accommodating to large groups.
Have been looking forward to going there for ages.

Great place to go, I last trip I was meant to go on was raining cats and dogs. They close the tracks in that conditions

Yeah its a great park. Awesome tracks, Good food, and the aminities at the camp ground are the best at any 4wd park.
There are plenty of tracks ranging from easy to hard with creek runs, steep climbs and also a great rock garden.

Sounds like the park is a goa!!
For a course i did a couple of yrs ago at Uni i had to plan a walk up Mt Barney and execute it! Had an awesome time and ever since have wanted to go back and do a camp and more bushwalking/photography/driving/exploring. So if there is a weekend or week planned out of this trip out to the Springs, i would like to involve a stop off at Mt Barney and Mt Lindsay to have a look around. Surely there are some good public tracks around that area.
Just a thought

Mt Barney is a bit out of the way, it is near Rathdowney, where the springs is just past Warwick.
But If you want to do Mt Barney then camp at Flanigans Reserve.
