Hi there, I have a 2002 ifs dual cab hilux the 3 litre non turbo diesel and I am currently having shaking issues between 90 and 110kph. I have 31inch maxxis trepador tyres so nothing massive by any means however the front shocks are only the standard issue ones. The tyres are balanced and in great condition so I don't think it is them however I'm concerned on the uneven wear the shaking maybe causing as I'm not a millionaire. Oh yeah and another thing i I carry a load on the bike ie my motorbike it is not as bad., If anyone out there has any advice or gone through the same issues I would love some advice or better be told how to stop this I would really appreciate it as it is really starting to give me th s@#$*!!
Thanks alot guys.

I agree with daweclan... I used to run 33's on my 99 hilux and a steering dampner made the world of difference to me. its prob a relatively cheap place to start.

Sounds like your front shocks might need to be replaced.

How may km have they done?

Factory shocks are good for no more than 80,000 to 100,000km.

The fact that it changes with weight in the back lead me to think its the shocks that are stuffed.

Cheers

Look at he bushes on your idler arms in the front. Mine were worn, shaking replaced shakes gone cheap and easy fix. If it has been shaking for a while it's likely you have damaged/worn the shock in some way also so it would pay to replace them sooner rather than later.
