Pat Callinan ran 255/85R16 with ARB suspension. Slightly taller than the tyre you are thinking about. No need for more than 2" lift unless it is more about the look. The only reason I didn't choose that tyre size myself is lack of choice. If you want to run muddies this would be a good choice. If you decide to fit the wider tyre you might need to do a bit of trimming.
