Anyone want to buy this, 20 years old and works perfect. Comes with all original accessories. Changing devices. There are used ones on ebay/marketplace asking around $1000. I'm not asking for that much, make an offer.

I got a 9575 Extreme on ebay for $600. There is no way a 9505A is worth $1000

Also it is just worth checking that 9505 is compatible with the new satellites currently being launched and being activiated. Iridium dropped firmware upgrade support for the 9505 about 12 years ago when they made it End of Life, that's why I upgraded.

Defiantly worthy of a recheck - was working fine a year ago when I last checked it. But its been a while since I've tried to use it

Also a bit OT, Qualcomm, who makes the chip that powers nearly every high spec android, released the new snapdragon that supports Iridium SMS on the new Iridium system. That will be a game changer and start appearing in phones from about December this year. It's far superior to the Apple equivalent. Anyone interested in remote travel considering buying a new Android should hold off till they start appearing.
