4x4 with hightop

New Member
Hey all,
I'm looking at starting a solo lap around Aus next year. My current setup is a ute, with a swag, however as im a solo female, I was looking into changing to a toyota troopy, for the added security during the night, however the poptop ones are waaaaay out of my budget. Ive been looking at the high top one, but a little concerned that if I go off roading (ill be doing cape york) the height of the vehicle may cause me to tip over if on a shifty angle.

Has anyone on here had any experience doing decent off roading in one of these??

Aside from cape york, I probably wont be looking into any serious 4x4 tracks, unless it serves a purpose (to get to a specific location) but want to know what my limits would be

Cheers fellas!!

You can drive an Excel to the Tip. Just depends on which roads you take. Stay away for the serious offroad stuff and you will be fine. And, no I don’t own a high top Troopy
