Would love too however the wifes still cashing in from my Kenya moto trip lol so im bringing the tin lids they are having fri off school so the earliest i might rock up 8ish thurs night if not fri lunch time cant wait havent had a good camp for a while.

If you want to meet up cookie no dramas ill def come thurs then say 7pm a capertree pub if that works. Or can meet else where i live right on the hume highway just south of sydney depending which way you coming we could go the back way ? Can accommodate a man of your calibre for night also if needed just leave your rusty nails in SA and all good my number 0428285622

After my fight with the angel grinder on saturday arvo and subsequent surgery to mend it I am still 95% of being there on Saturday night depending on pain levels. @cookie64 i might need one of your famous rusty nails again to assist .

So unless I'm back in hospital or in the Morgue ill be there one way or another

Usually we will get it while out on the day trips. Last year a few people brought some from home too.

I was up on the Turon 10 days ago for 4 days camping at Upper Turon and it was absolutely glorious with the sun out during the day and starting to set behind the ridges around 16:00 for 2C to 4C nights.

I did say in my initial post I'd be there 'rain, hail or shine' but it seems I'm getting soft particularly post injury so I'm sorry to inform I am going to give it a miss considering rain is forecast.

Pre injury in July 2015 I recall camping on the Turon upstream from Sofala with sunny 14C days (9C on the Bridle Track at Hill End) and -4C nights toasty as in the swag and waking up to all the camp water frozen solid, even the fringes of the river touching the bank where crystallized Ahh the good ole days!
