Hey guys

Sorry I missed this - I nearly had a chance to make it too!

I'm not that big on huge groups of people when I get away but this sounded like a ball. I reckon the family will be old enough by next year and we might make a special effort to get across there for it.

Everyone obviously put a lot of effort in and congrats to you all for doing it.

Mate, dont let the kids stop you.. My youngest was camping at 9 months (now 2 1/2)... absolutely loves every minute we are there... just ask everyone else... she wanted to be up and playing at 4am Sunday.... LOL.... Seriously though, would you rather be stuck at home with kids, or out doing things you enjoy... they will adapt!!!

Yobbo's Report

Wow what a trip arrived home at about 10pm last night all up I completed just shy of 4300km. I havn't worked out the fuel costs or usage yet.

Firstly thanks to everyone for a great event and making me feel welcome. Special thanks to all who took us on trips, Thanks Bek, Thanks 4x4, Thanks Grumpy and Thanks Gunna. For me the event was a bonus the main reason for my trip was to see the area, drive the tracks and the places we had a look at on the way up and down.

The travelling companions Walkabout & Mrs Walkabout I travelled with were unreal it was a pleasure to travel both down and back to Sydney with you both - the sights and places were incredible and had been on my to do list for a long time - Thanks guys and I enjoyed the banter along the way :D:D - Beep Beep :p:p

Special thanks to Gunna & Grumpy nothing was a hassel for either of you even cooked a few meals for us and let us use your showers - made me feel really welcome - Grumpy sorry I wasn't bending over for the soap

The tracks were different to what we see up here in Qld - it was good to see the way tracks are driven down there. I can only imagine what the area would have been like if rain had of come though on the weekend.

Once again thanks guys a event well organised and a pleasure to attend.

Unfortunately he wasn't over exaggerating 7136 to be exact in my O'Tooles folder here on the pc... - the rest came out blurry (had the camera set to Multiple shots for the whole trip. 4 photos at a time to be exact.
So frosty amongst us SA Contingent we did take that many photos but most where from the voyage & preparation to OTooles.

o haven't uploaded them all. . . was taking too bloody long

Cant wait to see EKKI's though as they took heaps as well.
