It's so good to be home....Coxy dropped some of our gear off today on his way home & he looked like a zombie, when I spoke to Traveller earlier he asked how I was doing & he was glad it wasn't just him feeling like crap. I think we can all give ourselves a couple of days grace to recover from the trip.

Congratulations to all of the organizers on a fantastic job they all did to make a wonderful trip.

After a 9 Hour drive to Woodend we were TOTALLY BUGGERED! - Thought it was because we are OLD FARTS AND COULDN'T HACK THE PACE!:D - My mate here at Woodend wants us to TAKE HIM CAMPING TOMORROW!!

Thank you Grumpy & Deb for putting us up for the night & Robz for looking after us with while our wagon was fixed.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! - Thank you Grumpy - Bek - Gunner & ALL INVOLVED in organising O'Tooles 2009.;)

O'tooles Awards

Quick one on the awards, what was it that you got the award for Ghost Patrol? Most facial expressions and cheek clenching while on track?:D:D:D:D
On that note, well done to her (Kylie, my other 1/2) for tackling White Star and Flats Tracks on Sunday. Not a bad effort at all.:cool::cool::cool:

The first goes to Bek's trailer not being able to get round a tree so the idea was to use the next vehicle (mine) to push it off the track so the rest could get through.

That's what bars are for & i have my first battle scar.

All this AFTER 5 trailers had already been through and NO damage was done to any!!

Bullbars are for frontal protection, a dozer blade is for pushing.....:D;)

A great big thanks to Grampy, Bek, 4x4 and all others involved with organising O'Tooles 2009 and the 4wd'ing trips.
We had a great 4 days ! nice scenery- fun tracks great company & night life err afternoon life well you know what i mean ;)
Just got back to Sydney about 11:30 in time to blast the truck with works high pressure cleaner and then 2 hours to remove the dust inside.
We came back via Marysville ( Yobbo and us ), had a great lunch and made a few donations for the fire appeal. Stayed overnight in Gundagai then up early for the final leg home.
Special thanks to Yobbo for great company and navigation during the convoy and at the meet up.
On the topic of 7am fire wood cutting, sometimes it's the least you can do to help out other campers- then again some lessons are best learnt the hard way;) Nice work Grumpy! BTW.... hows the roof rack holding on  ... OK ;):D
Will post up some pic's later on as need a long bath and a feed.

Hi all
Just got back after a very quiet night alone with the family at o’tools. A little wind, but none of the forecast thunderstorms or rain. Family had a great time.
It was good to meet all of you and we will definitely be joining in on other outings, time permitting.

P.S Yes Grumpy she did have a shower

Hey guys

Sorry I missed this - I nearly had a chance to make it too!

I'm not that big on huge groups of people when I get away but this sounded like a ball. I reckon the family will be old enough by next year and we might make a special effort to get across there for it.

Everyone obviously put a lot of effort in and congrats to you all for doing it.
