Would love to come. Might be a push getting a week off (figure this would be long enough) as it's the middle of spring season and the S**t goes in and out pretty rapidly over here at this time of year. Yeah I'm still there.
Dont put us down yet...... but you never know... after all we've heard seems we might have to represent the SA's unless we can convince Lowlux to come along too...

Hey Guys,
Definately more likely now.
Just blew $2000 in Boots camping. We bought our Black Wolf Turbo 240 Plus, then continued to blow the rest of Kev's cheque on deluxe chairs, two gas bottles, gas light, table, nifty Mosquito Tent that Wooky can stand up in, three burner stove etc. Had a ball and the guy selling to us was happy with the days takings. So if we can get leave we just need petrol money, so is now more likely.
Haven't talked to Harzee and Katie since we got back as they were pretty booked out for this month but will put it too them when we next get together.
Yippee we're camping overnight next weekend then away for a couple of days over June longweekend.
After all we gotta get some practice settingup camp - don't we.

Thinking if we kerb October Longweekend getaway then tis possible. It's around Daughters birthday but she has given us leave, tHmm thinking she maybe planning something and wants us out of the way.
Will broach subject of leave in November at work tomorrow, as they want me to stay there may be room for negotiating

WHaWhoa - Don't believe it - This is definately looking promising now - Just got offered a new position at work - same money but permanent so finally get that elusive holiday pay. It will be the first paid holiday break for me in 22 years Wha Whoa

Not sure but if you pitch your palace the neighbours will probably want us to pull down the house the next day and leave the Black Wolf there
No problems with space you will have full use of the Rumpus Room (has its own (decommissined) bar and toot (not decommissioned).

Hey Lowlux,
Sounds like an excellent idea to convoy and really stoked you are both coming. We (I) was thinking of driving through Wyperfeld NP, only cause we hadn't seen it yet. There's a track that runs NW to SE corners The Milmed Track, and maybe taking two days to get there..... so leaving (sorry Trish) early on the Thursday Morning and arriving Melrose/O'Tooles on Friday. Then taking the following week off and start back at work on 23rd. Don't necessary mean we will stay in Vic for the full week but that way we can take our time coming back.

Until we get holiday confirmation, and now we can arrange with Lowlux when they would be leaving etc should have answer by next week....

Cheers for that BEK. We're looking forward to catching up as well. Should be a treat. Hopefully not as much wind and rain as when you were here so will be a little more comfy to get together around the fire a little later and a few more bevvies on the cards maybe. Can't wait actually.

You guys are making me green with envy, I won't be long back at work after a 2 month trip up Cape York so can't make it to O'Tooles.
But as I said before, next year I should be freed from the workforce, so we will be over to meet the rest of you Vics. Plenty of time for driving then!!
