I want to put aftermarket wheels on second hand nothing fancy just don’t like the look of the mags and want off-roaders
No idea about tyres really. Offset etc. so how do I know what will fit on my car? Biggest size that’s legal?

Is it an SR5? I got my sr5 replacarded with the base version’s placard which was 7.5 r 15 which allowed 31 x 10.5 r 15 legally. Seems like a lifetime ago.

33" is the biggest you can go in australia

set of sunraysia rims are fairly cheap, strong, and can be ordered in any offset you want

From what I’ve read I can’t go bigger than 31” without suspension lift

When you say legal, we need to know what country or state are you living. Anyhow, upgrading tires is a must to conquer rough trails. I have a go-to-shop here in NY which is https://www.mopargenuineparts.com/ - you can send them a message re your concern and maybe they can help too.

Upgrading wide rims/tires will also require you to upgrade your suspension or at least 2inch lift. hope this helps

From what I’ve read I can’t go bigger than 31” without suspension lift

You need the 2” suspension lift and a 2” body lift to fit 33’s. That is mine with 285/75/16’s (33’s). I still had to do guard work to fit the fronts in - SR5’s have more plastic in there. Offset was 80 or 105 series cruiser. Can’t remember. Mine had to go over the pits to get the body lift certified (On 31’s).
