Camping in one spot allows for vehicles to be empty before the hard tracks, I'm sure there will be a spare seat or two in other vehicles if your worried about damaging yours Les

Some will run Saturday, some could be run Sunday as an exit. Will finalise trip leaders and figure this all out closer to the date.

Thanks for the offer Bill, maybe we should go for a drive with each other over the weekend and rest other vehicle a it, might be fun.
Think in general I'll just ramp up the difficulty through the weekend, as I learn how it handles various terrain etc.
Just getting things right in high / low range, gearing for various hills etc takes time to get used to.
Am doing a little run this Sunday that should get me started somewhat on the process, but the May trip will really be a great opportunity to really get a feel for the new ride.

Looks cool, a bit like Kings Canyon with more tress !!
Looking forward to seeing this kind of terrain, Great Divide is a pretty amazing (and big) piece of Australia.
Turon River looks good too, I red the parks site, and it said April is usually highest rainfall month, so the rivers (I hope) will be reasonably wet.
