Man, I'd love to get a boat.

Take no notice of this land lubber, but could your ladder be attached from the underside of that platform? Those things don't look like they'd be great if happened to stand on them. Couple of screw heads might be easier to deal with.

Unfortunately, I tried to fit an under-platform ladder, but it didn’t fit right… I am going to move the mount of the current one slightly so it sits flat on the platform. Still won’t help the pain when stepping on it though!!
