What a great relaxing weekend - Thanks @Gavo for kicking it off & @Toddyh for leading the trip & I will leave it to you to fill in the details. We were all happy to just be out there with friends & didn't care how difficult the driving would be.
We all met at the O'Connell Pub to camp for the night & have a great Dinner & a few drinks (except itlldoo who managed to meet us at Burraga Dam for the camp).
I'll just throw in a few photo's I took.

I did get some photo's of the "tyre re-beader" in action but not video as I think these should be kept for an "Instructional" thread - maybe not.

Another great weekend. Cheers to Gavo and toddy from showing us around. As always great times around the fire. Got to see some nice country side and gave the new chainsaw a good run.

Great weekend boys!!!

Thanks for the good times had and great company. Maddie and I had a good time, but she did get tires by the end. Soon as we got home and unpacked we were off to the BMX track. Bit spewing this trip cost me more than expected. I was doing a post 4x4 drive inspection at home and had my phone in my pocket. Must of had a rock or something crack the screen as I rolled over on the driveway. Screen wont even unlock now so it's off for repair.

Thanks for getting this rolling Bill. To fill in some details, the saturday drive was very tame and a general explore. We went through Oberon into Vulcan State Forest where we visited Shooters Hill fir tower. Sadly it was freezing cold and the views were clouded in. We then wound through Isabella to Burraga Copper Mine where we stopped for lunch. Not far away is Burraga Dam where we camped for the night.
Sunday we headed out of the dam via the back lane which was full of bog holes and one fallen tree. From there through Isabella again and down to Mount Werong via Middle Werong Fire Trail. The track is a steep drop in and then climb out of the creek. Nothing particularly difficult but good fun.
From there we generally followed fire trails and country roads down to Wombeyan Caves. A nice relaxed drive along Wombeyan Caves Road and a stop in at the Sunshack Cider brewery near Mittagong to finish the trip. I have no photos whatsoever so I'll have to rely on everyone elses.
Thanks to everyone who came. Great company again.

I like that last photo Todd! Bit of a lesson to all, to just how quickly something could go pear shaped.
Basically slid out of a set of ruts into a rather deep drain. Ended up winching nose around to get out.

I would have, you guys were just heading up Wombeyan Caves Rd as I was walking to the Kiosk. Hopefully next time I can join you guys!!
