In the past couple weeks we've had temps between 3 and 26 in the Latrobe valley (about 40-50km's away as a crow flies from O'Tooles). Just on Wednesday I've gone from wearing a fully insulated coat with thick rain proof outer to a shirt in the afternoon because the sun is too hot once the clouds and wind go away. The min and max varies more so in the mountains.

As Bomber said, pack for 0-40...

How is the weather any ideas on what to bring.Sounds like it is still very cold with a couple of tracks still not open to the public.

The weather here in the valley is crap atm.
And usually about 5dgs colder up there. (Correct me if im wrong)
But ive been to otooles many times.
The weather. Has been horrible. Then very hot all in one day.
If it gets cold at night. It will be cold till 10ish.
But with plenty of wood comes a good fire. And plenty of heat

Big question guys.
Will there be any t-shirts or other merch
Need to know how much cash to bring up
Hey Smitty. Current plan is stubbie holders and stickers will be available as regards merch. In the past T-shirts have proven to be unreliable sellers mainly due to the costs involved. If folks want a hat or t-shirt or polo, then head to the online store on the site.

So just for interest, what's most direct way into O'Tooles from north (let's say Sydney).
Do you go Wangaratta through to woods point, or around to Bairnsdale and in?

Dead easy - Mansfield - Woods Point - Matlock - Walhalla Road -Aberfeldy - Donnelly Creek - O'Tooles.
I find turning off at Benalla best.
