Hi, I hope someone will be able to help me. A lady friend who lives 100klm away has an overheating problem. From what she told me sounds like the thermostat is stuck shut. As I'm so far away and cannot get there she has enlisted the help of a neighbour to help her replace the thermostat. Can anyone tell me so I can tell them where the housing is ? I think it could be at the bottom of the motor at the rear but not being there looking at it I'm not sure. It is a 2001 Ford Courier Turbo Diesel 4 X 4 . Any help will be very much appreciated.

Hi ,
if it is a turbo diesel the thermostat is under the motor front left and a pain to get to at the end of the bottom radiator hose .
