    BFG All Terrain Tyres

That's true, but you also have extra $$$ in your pocket. NSW insurance for 2008 prado under lease $1,350. N.T. insurance for 2008 prado under lease with a free windscreen each year $680....I would gladly go back 20 years for that....

    BFG All Terrain Tyres

Hahahaha "We only sell the mighty Hercules up here" I personally have never had an issue with coopers, that said I was wasn't driving in the NT's hostile climate, there seems to be equal numbers of coopers, BFG's as well as a few other brands which I've never heard of rolling around up...

    BFG All Terrain Tyres

Hi 4X4, Cheers for the response, tyre pressure could have very well been a contributor in my mates blown tyres. Although, to have 2 tyres of the same make and model blow in the same manner on 2 different vehicles, kinda seems coincidental, but that could just be a freak once off or twice off in...

    BFG All Terrain Tyres

Hi Guys, I have a question in regards to Tyres for the N.T. members, but more specifically the Katherine and or Darwin regions. What tyres do you run and how long have they lasted? I was considering Coopers S/T's but have spoken with 2 mates who both had S/T's and both had them blow on...

    Warranty Question for 2008 Prado...

Hey Guys, I'm looking at having a safari snorkel installed on my 2008 prado by ARB and was wondering if anyone else has had this done to their 2008 or similar model prado. If so, the question I'd like to ask, has this addition affected your warranty in any way or due to the snorkel being a...

    Installing new spotlights on 4X4

Course it is.... I wouldn't call it guts, more brazen dis-regard for anyone else's belongings or just pure stupidity! Sweet, I'll have a look at both the Cibie Super Oscars and the Narva Ultima 225. Thanks heaps for your input.

    Installing new spotlights on 4X4

That's really gotta shit you! Did they end up find the other 4WD and the people who stole it and your lights? I've just got the standard soverign bar on my prado, which I'm lead to believe that most lights will fit on this bar. Hey thanks for the advice, working out a budget seems to be the...

    Installing new spotlights on 4X4

Thanks for the info bmurray2250, it's always good to get the opinions and advice from people who have been there and done that. Was there any definitive reasoning as to why you went with the Narva lights over the IPF ones, since you looked at the IPF's first?

Cheers Tiny, So far I love the prado! Comfortable to drive, great on fuel, heaps of power and on many occasions I clearly underestimate it's power and potential. Like they say, it doesn't matter how good your vehicle is, your only as good as the driver.....I'm working to rectify that hahaha.
