I may be able to head up on Sunday. Where do people normal hang around for the fun in the snow? Last time I was up there with snow I only got to Picadilly Circus... not sure if there's a 'go to spot'.

Hey all, Anyone looking to heading out for a drive this weekend? Pete

Truck is in for tyres on Saturday morning. Might mean I can't get it into the garage.. sigh.. just realised that.. :-/ Oh well. Sunday is always a possibility... but I don't know my way around the place.. so I'm looking to following someone else who knows the area.

There is if you head down a few of the tracks, but they all lead to private property. So you got out for a drive then? It wasn't too hot where we were, but boy it changed when we got back to Canberra though!

Back from the drive, much sooner than I expected and sadly with nothing to really tell. The GPS works well enough, so tracked the whole trip, but clearly I need to learn how the software works better to make sure I only record the one trip at a time... something to read up on now. OK, so...

OK, it's my first weekend with a day I don't have something else on. So my plan is to head down through Namadgi along Boboyan Road, then right to Yoalk (I think that's it) then using the the 1:250k topo map on Memory-Map, see where it goes heading back north, I'll either end up back at Honey...

I don't have recovery points fitted either, they are on the must fit list though. If recovery points are needed, then I'm out for the trip, simply because I can't get them fitted in time. I am however going to go for a bit of a trundle around yoalk road and keep to the simple stuff this...

Hi Everyone, After sorting out quite a few issues with the Discovery, I'm pretty keen to see what the local area has on offer, and been watching the trips forum to see what comes up. Anyway, in lieu of any large trips, I'm interested to know if anyone has done any of the fire trails around...

Me too... I'm not really keen to head out on my own and so far haven't managed to do much more than drive to Tumut along Brindabella road. Which was still a nice enough drive and destination. :)

Twisty, Sounds fair to me, and to be honest almost works out perfectly for me. It's my daughter's birthday Sunday, so it was looking doubtful I could make it. Any chance it can be rescheduled? I'm really hoping to go for a drive through the area some time. Peter.
