If you get the non turbo diesel ,you can get out and walk faster cause they are slow but it will run forever , offroad they are great , it will lift a wheel easy , see if you can find one with the lsd rear end , if you want a turbo diesel expect to pay a premium for it and fuel economy isn't...

You'll get a better pajero for $8k than a patrol, depending on K's check for the usual oil leaks ,head gaskets and drive shafts, the v6 is a pretty tough unit as are the boxes and diffs, and don't let people give you shit for independent suspension all round, I loved mine and only sold it cause...
