Technology has changed a lot since I started this thread, That looks like now common DJI Naza footage. He is not actually flying it, it flies itself. you can get a DJI phantom complete ready to direct for around $1200.. they have caused a big stir in the hobby community because you dont need any...

Be careful on the power lines track fellas. This much rain it might be worth skipping it. Very slippery and a bit down hill with huge potholes and ruts. Unless it's changed since I was there, but the track heading to the campground would be a great lot of fun though.

I'm guessing from the response that my map in one of my links is useless to you guys. You can't get lost down there anyway. Enjoy the trip fellas
