    It's not real

Looks pretty cool. As long as people don't try to pass it off as natural I don't mind seeing it done.

    Early stages of injector failure

I'm sure it was a 2 micron, it had it written on the filter. I may be wrong though, it was low/fine micron one anyway. I get told a lot of different things regarding two filters

    Early stages of injector failure

Yeah my bad, a while back they put a 2 micron Donaldson one in so assumed it was the same. Saw them this morning & they confirmed it wasn't a 2 but a 20

    Early stages of injector failure

Yeah D4d Hilux 08 model. It's just over 200,000km so things will go wrong. He mentioned if I heard it but I can't....not that I'm too observant. Something I'll want to get sorted sooner rather then later. I won't go the pedders, will go for another one that I priced a few months back

    Early stages of injector failure

Here's a pic of them. The main one is a Toyota filter....secondary one is a Donaldson, it says primary on it. I'll try to see if I can see more info on it

    Early stages of injector failure

So while I was in the territory my fuel light came on (not flashing). Take it into a mechanic in Alice, he replaces my two fuel filters & says the secondary fuel filter is too fine (2 micron) & shouldn't of been put in. He replaces it with a 30 micron one. Light comes on the next day, take it...

TJM HunterValley - appalling service and incompetent fitters

I always like to communicate by email if a problem comes up, that way you have it in writing. As someone who is not mechanically handy it is a bit of a concern when getting stuff done to your vehicle from a business you haven't dealt with before etc. I'm just glad with the 4wd I do i don't need...

    Madness at stockton beach

The main/stupid thing is posting it on social media, go have some fun but don't put it online. A lot of people seem obsessed on how many likes etc they can get. Although it's pretty hard to stop with everyone having a phone camera these days. We used to get up to all sorts of stuff growing up on...

    Lake Boolka

In a week's time I'll be doing a trip up north west NSW. First stop will be menindee lakes, then up to Silverton then up to sturt NP via Border Downs Rd then back down to Mutawintji NP. Now being private property along the border Downs Rd I'm guessing camping at Lake Boolka isn't allowed? (I'd...

    Where am I 2020.

You got it! Nice work I was photographing magic rock one evening (which unfortunately has been put on Google maps in the last year or so) when I came across a local photographer who told me about this spot. He didn't give me the best directions but ended up finding it. Hopefully it stays a bit...

    Where am I 2020.

It is part of the GOR......there used to be a track you could drive up to it but now you have to walk due to erosion. Good spot to get away from the selfie taking tourists

    ARB fuel tank

Just a few comments on my fuel tank (145L) that I got fitted a bit over 5 weeks back. Fits in nice & snug (a bit hard to get a good pic) For the first two weeks or so the fuel gauge didn't move a bit, once it started to go down it went down a lot quicker. It's 3/4 empty now after 973km. All...
