? ?ROAD NOT MARKED ON THE MAP ABOVE ? ?
Go through, CLOSE THE GATE BEHIND YOU. Don't run over any cows as you pass though the paddock.
Do NOT take the Private road to the right.
Continue straight ahead where the track enters the National Park scrub and Banksia trees before exiting at the camp area on the beach.
A selection of ocean front or secluded sites, some shaded, some full sun, sandy ground with a few grassed sites.
A rocky prominence and rock pools, seperate the two sandy beaches. One beach -a tiny secluded pretty bay with some rocky caves to explore at the southern end and the other, which can be accessed along the rocks at low tide from the little beach by walking on the now exposed rocks or via the short STEEP path from the camping sites 'Day Parking' area.
This beach has a never ending expanse of white sand with a noticable high rocky outcrop about half way down the beach. For a good workout a climb to the top rewards you with great views.
Camping fees (collected by ranger in the evening) are approximatley $20- a night = 1 car + 2 adults. Unsure if water is available.Take cooking - drinking water. Pit toilets. Picnic table. Campervan designated area seperate from tent sites.
WILDLIFE ? Possums, swamp wallabies, yellow robin, blue wrens, antechinus and for the fishermen - salmon and bream.
GEOLOGY ? Absolutely fascinating rock formations. Simmilar to the 'Tessillated Pavement' in Tassie but in miniature with pink, ocher and mauve colouring. TAKE YOUR CAMERA.
