Myall Lakes National Park

Campsite Description

This place is a beautiful spot to visit. With a huge brackish lake on oneside and a the ocean the other. There is heaps of camping available here. But no pre booking is allowed even in the school holidays so it is first come first served. The campsites can accomodate caravans, buses, camper trailers, tents just to name a few. Mungo Brush is the main campsite but there are others that also can accommodate different camping methods and all are shady. They are smaller but usually less busy than Mungo Brush and have drop toilets as well. The lake is great for fishing and swimming, kayaking and boating. Mungo Brush has a boat ramp available. There is also 4WD beach access across from the Mungo Brush campground. None of the campgrounds are far away from each other so if you want to camp at a certain ground and load your boat in another, that is also possible. This place is truely a special part of Australia.
