Mayfield Bay Campground

Campsite Description

This seaside campground is right beside the Tasman Hwy (A3) at the southern end of Mayfield Bay, 15 km south of Swansea. There is plenty of room for campervans, and caravans, and with boat-launching access as well. There is a lovely beach, good snorkelling and the 1845 convict-built Three Arch Bridge nearby. Bring your own firewood and drinking water. The toilet facilities are good, with foot pump flushing mechanism. This spot is busy in summertime, but when I was there it was nice and quiet during the April (SA holiday period) break.
