Gleneden Organic Farm and Bullock Team

Campsite Description
The Morris family Rohan, Fiona, Eden and Jethro welcome you to Gleneden Organic Farm. On the western hills of a picturesque valley, Gleneden Organic Farm is a family owned mixed farm with a wide variety of animals and plants for food production. We produce nutritious, delicious food by focusing on healthy soils, plants and animals. Our aim is to have a farm that is not only productive and healthy but interesting and pleasant. We keep rare breeds of farm animals and grow heritage variety fruits and vegetables, both for their superior food production qualities and as an act of preservation of genetic diversity. We want everything on our farm to look nice and smell nice; a pleasant place to be for people and animals. We direct market our produce to local customers and to you, our farm visitors.
We host groups of day visitors for displays of our working bullock team and other forgotten bush skills, and give farm tours explaining our methods of production and introducing people to all our animals. Our displays include our working bullock team and our childrens' goat team in training (kids training kids), blacksmithing, greenhide whip making and whip cracking, bush timberwork, wheelwrighting, blade shearing and camp oven cooking.
You can arrange to try these activities as well as others including farmhouse cooking of bread, cheese, yoghurt etc, cow and goat milking and organic gardening.
Rohan is an Outdoor Education teacher and your guide for bushwalks, bicycle tours (road and mountain bikes) and 4WD tours.
