Glen Rock Park

Campsite Description

This is a very clean park, managed by the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS), Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM)tucked away in the head of the beautiful Tenthill Valley.

If you are after peace and quiet - here is an option that is within easy reach of Brisbane.

There are (chemical) toilets, cold showers, BBQ's in the day use area and fire pits in the camping area. It is largely opne with individual campsites shielded by trees. When we were there, we shared the camp with one other couple.

Walking and exploring the creeks and sitting back and relaxing are the major activities - great for a stress busting camp, although there are facilities for horse lovers

Sites must be booked in advance ( http://www.derm.qld.gov.au/parks/glen-rock/about.html )

Remember to leave only footprints ...
