Chincilla Weir is located 8 kilometres south of Chinchilla on Chinchilla-Tara Road This popular recreational spot is also a great place to throw in a line. It is suitable for boating, but fishing is not allowed within 200 metres of the Weir wall. Camping is also allowed but a maximum of 2 nights. There is a boat ramp, toilets, shelters and barbeques.
