Carnarvon National Park

Campsite Description

Carnarvon Gorge is a beautiful green area in Central Queensland and I highly recommend visiting.  The road into the camping area is all dirt but normal cars car drive it with caution.  Worth booking a camp site and we found the cabins were nice to stay in.  The area has cooking and eating area for all campers and if the rangers approve there is a open fire area.  The walks into the gorge are wonderful and photography great.  The swimming area are lonely but can be on the cool to cold side.
