This is a quiet little camp ground situated off Flinders highway about 110kms from Townsville (20kms from Charters Towers). The owners are a lovely couple and very friendly and helpful. You can have drinks and damper around the main fire with the other campers or keep your own space away from others good swimming as this place is located on the junction of the Burdekin & Fanning Rivers. Swimming Pool, Hot / Cold Showers, Toilets. A nice relaxing atmosphere. Dogs are allowed as long as they are well behaved, on a leash & under control. They also have bait at the office for those that want to do a spot of fishing. I find this place a pleasure to visit everytime.
