They're on Facebook.$20 first day, $15 extra days, $5 additional adult, kids free.
Sounds great, can't wait to check it out. Maybe someone could organize a day trip.

Heck yeah !

Saturday 26th May puts it smack between now and your QB long weekend trip north Rick.

Lots of new people from SA on here recently, may be a good opportunity to have a bit of a get together, 4x4 fun and a bbq lunch (simple sausage sizzle with snags, onions etc).

Once confirmed I can phone one of the numbers and arrange.
Actually I will phone them tonight after 5 and check out if that Saturday looks clear of anything major for them.

If too many people work Saturdays, we could make it Sunday perhaps.

So, fire away with interest and availability for Sat 26 or Sun 27 : )

Their first open day is scheduled for June 2/3 but still try and see if you can get an exclusive pre-opening on the basis that we are a forum and it will be good advertising for them. I'm keen to go, I have some brand new rubber that I can try out.

I'm up for this, very busy with a couple of projects, but what the hell, a play would be good, either day good for me, there's already been a few trips up there going by Facebook

Ok fellas, it's looking good . . . just got off the phone to Paul and he's keen to have us up there for a look.

Apparently official open is now QB long weekend, and they are having Nissan club up there 2/3 June for a pre look, and we are welcome to go up Sat 26 or Sun 27 May.

They will open gate and even show us around a bit.
Paul said he's been up there about 12 times and hasn't even touched the surface of it yet, some tracks established / developing, but very much loads of new virgin scrub.
They are even happy for 4wdrs to open it up more where it is good for tracks.

There is a basic lean to type hoochie there, where we could set up a trestle table, a few bbq's, and everyone can bring a couple of snags, I can bring a bag of onions, and maybe 3 or 4 can bring a loaf of bread.
A couple of drinks should be ok, but of course we'll take it easy there.

A basic waiver will be posted up here for people to sign and bring on the day, very simple one, they have no insurance for injuries that may occur there, and at this stage they are doing this waiver.
With common sense there should be no problems.

They have to travel up there to open up, need about 15 vehicles to go, I said should be no problems there.
For the day it's $20 per vehicle + $5 per extra adult, kids no charge.

If you wanted to stay the weekend, it's $15 each day, so $30 all up and that is free camping (numerous nice spots about).

So, please post if ok for Sat or Sun or BOTH (if you haven't already), will keep post # 1 updated with who's in / possible.

Rick, Paul said he's much better with Facebook liasing for trips up there, I'm not on this Facebook thing, so do you think you can keep him posted and up to date with meeting times etc that we come up with ?

I have little idea where it actually is, somewhere out of Gawler, so we'll need a map location etc.

Ok all you oldies and newbies, this is your chance to check out some great terrian and scrub !

Just read your post before putting this up Glen, you in ?? : )

I may be able to make it but will have to check a few things first.

The property is just out of Terowie about 2 hours north of Gawler.
