It does get a bit old waking up to clear blue skies each day, and nights get cold (around 15 deg C )
I use a Nikon D810 with a 14mm Rokinon f2.8 lens. They are held secure on a Gitzo Carbon Fibre tripod. Settings I normally use are:
ISO 800 - 3200
20 second shutter speed
manual focus to infinity
out in the morning sunshine -- Tungamah --Victoria

Near Mt Coree today around 1200m
Surprised anything is still open up there i know they shut mt Franklin already.
Yeah Franklin is shut from the Bendora Arboretum road. That was at the intersection of Blue Range road and Genges Trail at 1330 only started to snow just after I got there and then it was snowing down to about 1000m on the way back down.
Got up at 5.30 a.m. for an early start today. Seven k's, mostly on foot. Very wet underfoot but fairly clear skys out in the Vic. Country.
