    Yeah Frankstone has always been a $h!t hole with all the junkies and feral bogans hanging around the takeaway shops across from the train station, its no doubt still the same, only difference would likely be the junkies will be on that ice crap instead of heroin so you would need to watch your back even more walking through the $h!t hole.

    Beer battered Flathead, Marinated Kingfish steaks are good for locally caught fish. Favourite is Coral Trout with a sprinkiling of of paprika and sea salt cooked using a dash of olive oil.

    Coral trout is yummm
    Nangai is nice also
    Can't go past a flatty tail either

    Saltwater - Flathead
    Freshwater - Smoked Trout over the campfire.

    I reckon you are all missing out
    John dory, not to be confused with any other dory (look for the black spot)
    $35 a kg at the fish shop in Marrickville
    I cook it in panko b/crumbs, mmmm, everyone comes back for 2nds & 3rds

    Flake, proper Victorian flake is the only fish I eat. Ive never liked fish, I like to catch it though.
